PUNTOS DE FUGA / VANISHING POINTS. 2021
El proyecto plantea modificar el espacio urbano y simbólico que habitamos, interviniendo espacios publicitarios con gigantografías abstractas en blanco y negro.
La acción llevada a cabo, parte del concepto situacionista llamado “détournement o desvío”, que plantea tomar algún objeto creado por el sistema hegemónico, para luego distorsionar su significado y uso original, resignificando y reconfigurando lo que normalmente se ve en estos soportes. Es una forma de apropiarse y modificar el espacio urbano generando un cruce entre lo público y privado, lo cotidiano de la ciudad y la carga simbólica que los espacios y la acción representan, en conjunto a la acción performática del cuerpo para modificar el territorio.
Este proyecto fue realizado durante la residencia Laboratorio Federal 2021, con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultural de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y la Secretaria de Patrimonio.

The project proposes to modify the urban and symbolic space we inhabit, intervening advertising spaces with abstract black and white gigantographies.
The action carried out is based on the situationist concept called «détournement», which proposes to take an object created by the hegemonic system, and then distort its original meaning and use, re-signifying and reconfiguring what is normally seen in these supports. It is a way of appropriating and modifying the urban space, generating a cross between the public and the private, the everyday of the city and the symbolic load that spaces and action represent, together with the performative action of the body to modify the territory.
This project was carried out during the Laboratorio Federal 2021 residency, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires and the Secretary of Heritage.
